Location (and other user profile settings)

A few people have asked where to set their location and other sundry user-level details ... and I can't find it either. I'll keep looking but thought I'd ask if anyone knew where those options are or why they're disabled?

My two guesses since you and Boz has them set:
1: Theme related (hidden in this theme).
2: User rights.

"Set location" is in the profile.
At the top-right (after the header), look for the icon that looks like a torso.
Click "Profile".
Click "Edit profile" that's kind-of in the middle of the window.
A field called "location" should be there. Change it!

I can not find it. I've followed Boz's instructions and looked everywhere. There is no "Edit profile" or "location" anywhere that I can see.

This is weird. I posted something about it not being available from the User Control Panel, but I just followed Boz's instructions (correctly this time) and it is available from the "View Profile" page. But it's obviously not available to Shargo there because it's missing in his screenshot.

Apparently more investigation is required.

OK, there was indeed a permission problem, because you're handled as a "new user" until you've posted 5 posts.

Because we have e-mail confirmation, however, we can skip that!

I've updated permissions now. @shargo, Go to the person icon and click on "User Control Panel".
